Halloween 2008

Yup. Here it is - December 4th and I am just now getting around to posting the Halloween pictures. That gives you a little insight into how crazy our lives have been! For all of you that follow our blog: forgive me for taking so long to post. With the move, our lives have been a little hectic. But as things settle down...and they always do right before the Holidays right?! Well anyway, as things settle down, I hope to get back on track and posting on a more regular basis.

The Babies dressed up as "Little Devils" for Halloween. They were very cute. They even had little tails that came off their pants! Very appropriate outfits I thought...

Here is Wyatt with his bucket. He was actually more into leaves on the grass from the tree than his Halloween bucket.
This is Teagan wanting to head out - across the street to go see the neighbors pumpkins. The babies just loved pumpkins. They both - but mostly Wyatt - just kept calling them "balls". I tried to explain they were pumpkins....

The babies were fascinated by the lime tree in G.G.'s front yard. They kept going over to it - pulling the limes off and throwing them. They thought that was just a great time!

Here is Travis with the babies. For some reason, Teagan ended up with her Bunny outside. Don't remember how at this time...but whenever she is super upset (a.k.a temper tantrum) she will end up with Bunny to calm her down. Some toddlers got candy for the first time on Halloween: Teagan got Bunny outside. Big treat. Here they are: Halloween 2008.

And here they were one year ago: Halloween 2007. AMAZING how quickly they grow in just one year!

Playdate with the Boys

We went over to the Affrunti's house the other day to check in and say Hello. Wyatt needs to go to their house every so often to teach the boys bad habits! Last time he taught them how to climb onto the couch - this time it was climbing on their chairs - to the top of their craft table during snack time. Sorry 'bout that...! :-) Can you tell which one is Blake and which one is Chase?

Something you hear a lot in our household: "Wyatt - get down!"

Fun Times at G.G's

The babies and I have lived at my mother-in-laws house for almost 5 weeks now while the house went on the market and was being sold. Well we found a rental house in Rocklin that will take 16 month old twins - 2 large dogs - and will give us the short term lease that we negotiated for! Yipppeee! So this weekend will be our big move date where we will once again be a family under the same roof!
Wyatt and Teagan LOVE - LOVE - LOVE their climbing slide at G.G's house.

The babies have a fascination with all hats. Wyatt has found a bucket that he wears as a hat. Future band member?!
Tiggy in a rare - demure - moment.

We have to send out a big thank you (though it hardly seems like enough) to G.G. for letting us stay with her while we are in this transition move...we thank you G.G.

"Apple Hill" in the Fall

A fun fall activity here in California has to be "Apple Hill". You can go to the locally owned apple farms and gather you own apples, pumpkins, buy locally baked apple pies, buy crafts from local vendors - you get the picture. Of course now that the babies are little people - I insisted we do this with them! We rode a train - ate lunch on a picnic table - gathered pumpkins on a hillside - it was great fun.

Trip to the Museum

We went to visit the Children's Museum in San Jose recently. We had a great time. It is an amazing museum for children. All the exhibits were very well done - the museum was immaculate - everything there was very child friendly - it was a great time. The babies REALLY enjoyed the water exhibit...maybe a little too much. I didn't bring a change of clothes for them - and they were DRENCHED! So we had to leave...and they were very sad. I swear they could have stayed in the water park for hours on end! If you are local and you have not been - I would highly recommend it.
Teagan preferred the water toy that you placed the balls on top - then watched them funnel down. She just sat here for a good 45 minutes putting the balls on top - watching them come down and out - placing them on top - and on she went....
Wyatt had a great time placing the balls on top of the water stream.

This was a little theater area where Daddy was doing a puppet show with stuffed bears.
This was some exhibit with a bug under a microscope that you could see on the screen. Teagan just kept saying "Show" because she thought the TV should be playing her show. Wyatt found this crab catcher from another exhibit and would not stop carrying it around. We had to pry it out of his hands...and that was not fun for anyone.

How cute are they?!

Love them...!

The Zoo

We have heard so many wonderful things about the San Francisco Zoo we decided to take the babies one summer day...well...as it usually is in San Francisco: cold and foggy. In fact, I think the gauge on the car said it was 58 degrees. It was cold! But it is an amazing zoo and the exhibits are all very well done. Here are some pics of our frozen day.
