18 Months - 1 1/2 Years Old Already??!!!

Just a quick post for those of you out there following us...the babies went in for their 18 Month Well Baby visit at the end of December. Thankfully - both are 100% healthy and normal. Thank you universe - thank you lord - thank you buddah - thanks to whoever we need to thank!! We could not be more appreciative that our twins are 100% normal and healthy in every way. Now, if I could only find a way to deal with the approaching "Terrible Twos" I would feel very blessed indeed!!

Christmas Fun

We had a fabulous Christmas Holiday this year. It was a little crazy since we had just moved - and everything was packed - but we got the tree up - and tried to be festive! This is the babies before we went to take their picture with Santa...which was a fiasco. On Christmas Eve my parents came over to celebrate with us and my niece.
They got the babies this ball toy that they just love...anything with balls is a big hit. Teagan just sat there and sort of took claim of the toy while Wyatt hovered on the other side! So possesive already!
This is Wyatt on Christmas morning. Notice the tree doesn't have any ornaments...there is a reason for that...the babies would pull them all off. So this year - we opted to go sans ornaments. We are hoping next year they will be a little less curious and not so much in the "explorer" mode.
This is Teagan unwrapping a puzzle. They didn't really get the whole unwrapping concept...which is OK. There are plenty of those "rip into 'em" days in the future.
Teagan and Wyatt checking out their new bowling set.
Here I am with my two little ones! Love them.
Here is Teagan unwrapping her new castle in her slippers. Good look baby girl.
Wyatt and his dump truck. He now can say "truck" and often points them out while we are driving around.
A couple of days after Christmas we went to my sister's house for the whole family get-together. It was a lot of fun - chaos yes - but so much fun to see the babies with their cousins and their aunts & uncles. This is my neice showing the babies how to play the piano. They were mesmerized by her and the piano. They loved it.
Wyatt and the new barn set-up. They love this because they can recognize animals and what sound they make. We hold up the cow and they say: "Mooooo"
This is my nephew reading to them. They kept bringing books over to him...and he was such a sport about reading to them.

Live and In Person!

Yeah! So we finally got a recorder that I can upload to the blog site! So excited...finally...you can see them live and in person. Well, as long as you have the most recent version of the appropriate software on your computer, we should be good. :-)

We were back in San Carlos for the Holidays and we had just got back from the park. Both the babies had gotten their pants dirty and wet at the park - so I took them off when we got home. This is a pretty funny video with Travis doing the recording this time around.

This is Wyatt and Teagan one morning. This is pretty typical...they have an entire room to play in - and they literally - end up on top of each other. I was recording this from across the room - so it may be kind of blury - but still pretty typical for a day in the life of the 4 Goodrichs.

Merry Christmas!!

Merry Christmas!!!

We took the babies to the mall in order to get their picture taken with Santa Claus. We explained to them the entire wait in line who he was, what magical powers he had, that they should tell him what they wanted for Christmas, etc etc. Once they got to Santa however, all hell broke lose! They did not want to be put on Santa's lap and cried A LOT. This is the best picture we got. :-) They were not happy about this little adventure...but I guess we always have next year to get a smiling picture with Santa....
