We went up to my parents Ranch with the entire family for the weekend. The babies got to run around with their cousins - whom they are just enthralled with watching - and had all sorts of fun with them. In our household - this is the "naughty corner!"
Kidding.
It is a crate that my mom borrowed for one of our dogs that Cousin Ben and Teagan liked to play in.

Parade Day
We went to the local Holiday Parade in Roseville a couple of weeks ago. The babies did really well. There was a lot going on: loud noises - sirens - cars - you name it - in the parade and they just sat in their wagon and took it all in. We had a lot of fun watching everything and everyone go by...
The babies actually sat in their wagon for a solid part of the parade...but as usual all good things must come to an end! They got out and ran around for the last part. It was really sweet because a lot of people in the parade were throwing (a.k.a. handing out) candy and they would always come up to the babies and give them candy....which I would promptly take away! No candy canes for a 1 1/2 year old!!

Daily Routine
Thought you might find it interesting to learn what our daily ritual is looking like these days...and if you don't care then just check out the cute food pics!
7:30 AM'ish we wake up and jabber at one another until Daddy comes to get us
8:00 AM Eat Breakfast then we get down and play in our playroom just creating havoc for Mommy
9:30 AM'ish Snack time then Mommy usually packs everyone up to go somewhere...anywhere...but getting out of the house is a must
11:30 AM Lunchtime - this is when we throw all our food off the tray so Mommy can clean it up later
12:00 Naptime
2:30 PM Wake Up (Teagan is always the first one up...I get her out of her crib then she walks over to wake up Wyatt)
3:00 PM Snack Time!
We may or may not get out of the house again...it depends on what Mommy has going on
5:00 PM Dinner - another opportunity to throw everything off our trays
6:00 PM Bath time - which in our household is called TUBBY TIME and the babies LOVE LOVE LOVE tubby time. They get excited just hearing the water running.
6:30 PM Milk and story time
7:00 PM Lights out...and they sleep until the following morning at 7:30 am...then we do it all over again Is it mean that I take their shirts off for meals?!
Wyatt is such a great eater. He is always up for food...you can count on him for that. Sometimes he will eat 4 fishsticks - 6 or 7 tater tots - 5 or 6 carrots and then some graham crackers. He is a great eater.

Teagan on the other hand...I am not sure how she is still growing based on how little she ends up eating. She already is showing signs of *becoming* a picky eater. If I sit something on her tray and she doesn't want it, she will say: "No....No....No" and then swoosh my hand away. Or if it is on her tray and she doesn't want it, then she will just throw it across the room. I swear she practices how far she can get a piece of food across the room! She already has definite opinions on her food.

New Digs
Well, we are mostly moved into our new digs in Rocklin. For those of you not familiar with the area, we are outside of Sacramento on your way to Lake Tahoe. We are just at the base of the foothills, a solid 20 minutes from downtown Sacramento, basically the last exit before you start to get near Auburn. We are just renting a house until we figure out the area, where we want to be, etc. We do want to buy our new house soon though...because we really are excited about having our new home and being a permanent resident of the area. Both Travis and I can't wait to have that "Ahhhh....." moment when we are moved into our new home and we are all moved in. I am hopeful that will happen by the babies 2nd birthday in June. This is the new playroom we have devised from what should be the family room. We have gated it off and made it a playroom. It is comprised of nothing but toys! Oh my - you should see it at the end of the day. It is great to have an area where I can safely put the babies and watch them however. I really do like this.Teagan and Wyatt just LOVE their cars. They love to crawl in and out of them...they like to sit in them and drive....they sit in them and drive into one another....they honk at each other...they LOVE their cars. Boy - I now know the true meaning of the term: Monkey See Monkey Do. When you have twins, you understand. Whatever one does - the other MUST do. If Teagan turns her cup over to drop milk onto her highchair tray...then Wyatt must do it too. If Wyatt climbs onto the dining room chair in order to get on top of the dining room table...then Teagan must do it too. Whatever one does...so does the other... Mr. Wyatt is proving to be all boy. ALL BOY this kid. He is a huge fan of sticks. Whenever we go outside, he finds a stick (or two) to carry around. He must have a stick in hand at all times if we are outside. This is us at a local park in our new neighborhood.
Teagan on the swing. I am quite amazed that she already loves to swing quite high. Whenever I push her she says: "Weeee....." in her cute little voice. I find that if I want the babies to do something, if I add a "Weeee...." and make it seem like it is fun, they are more willing to follow along! Mommy tricks #1. :-)
Teagan is quite the little adventurer. She is defintely our "jump off the deep end" little girl. She ventures out on her own to go anywhere - through tunnels - whatever - to get to the other side. No fear this little one.

Halloween 2008
Yup. Here it is - December 4th and I am just now getting around to posting the Halloween pictures. That gives you a little insight into how crazy our lives have been! For all of you that follow our blog: forgive me for taking so long to post. With the move, our lives have been a little hectic. But as things settle down...and they always do right before the Holidays right?! Well anyway, as things settle down, I hope to get back on track and posting on a more regular basis.
The Babies dressed up as "Little Devils" for Halloween. They were very cute. They even had little tails that came off their pants! Very appropriate outfits I thought...
Here is Wyatt with his bucket. He was actually more into leaves on the grass from the tree than his Halloween bucket.
This is Teagan wanting to head out - across the street to go see the neighbors pumpkins. The babies just loved pumpkins. They both - but mostly Wyatt - just kept calling them "balls". I tried to explain they were pumpkins....

The babies were fascinated by the lime tree in G.G.'s front yard. They kept going over to it - pulling the limes off and throwing them. They thought that was just a great time!
Here is Travis with the babies. For some reason, Teagan ended up with her Bunny outside. Don't remember how at this time...but whenever she is super upset (a.k.a temper tantrum) she will end up with Bunny to calm her down. Some toddlers got candy for the first time on Halloween: Teagan got Bunny outside. Big treat. Here they are: Halloween 2008.
And here they were one year ago: Halloween 2007. AMAZING how quickly they grow in just one year!
