How cute are they?!

Love them...!

The Zoo

We have heard so many wonderful things about the San Francisco Zoo we decided to take the babies one summer day...well...as it usually is in San Francisco: cold and foggy. In fact, I think the gauge on the car said it was 58 degrees. It was cold! But it is an amazing zoo and the exhibits are all very well done. Here are some pics of our frozen day.

We Can Climb!

Yup. One more part of life that is officially over for us: relaxing on the couch. The babies have figured out how to climb on couches, chairs, coffee tables, whatever! It was totally nerve racking at first, until they figured out how to climb off. Now they just seemlessly let themselves up and down whatever piece of furniture they like.

Whatcha got buddy?!
Ohhh right. A Booger.
New favorite pastime: climb on the chairs at G.G's and bang on the window. Good stuff.

For Sale

We got back from New York after Labor Day and Travis found out that he had been "wooed" by a new division of HP in Roseville. Lets be honest, we all know how desirable he is! :-) We decided as a family that this would be a good move for us and for the family. So he accepted the position...and off to Roseville our family of 4 goes.

By By Sweet Sweet House. Our first house together as newlyweds. Where I waddled down the hall while big and prego. We will always remember our little house that we brought the babies home to. Many fond memories of our sweet sweet little house.

New York Trip

At the end of August we took the babies on their very first, as well as their very last, plane ride. It was a nightmare. Hello????? All you people with babies, toddlers and kids????? No one had the nerve to tell us not to fly with toddlers until they are 2???? Especially not on a 6 hour cross country plane ride???? No manual. No heads up. Nada.

We were "those people" on the plane. We held up the plane when people were trying to get on, we made people move seats because United screw up, we had the screaming babies, we held up the crew getting off, did I mention the screaming babies? Yeah, we were "those people" on the back of the plane.

But once we found our way to the very end of Long Island New York to visit one of my very dear friends we had a great time. We hung out, went to The Hamptons, went to an aquarium, learned how to play with swords, Travis went "fishing" with Eddie, it was a great time. Thank you to the Smyths for opening their Beach House to the Californians with twins.

Teagan. Just never content to hang out for too long anywhere. She is always on the go.

Wyatt discovers swords. True boy.
This was us on the ferry crossing on the way to the Hamptons.

End of August

During the month of August we took a trip up to my sister's house in Roseville - outside of Sacramento. They have a nice, big new house in a great neighborhood. And more importantly, it is really warm there all year, which I LOVE. This started us thinking about the possibility of moving to Roseville... The county faire came to San Mateo at the end of the month. We thought it would be a great idea to take the babies...and it probably would have been...if it wasn't 95 degrees and on the top of a parking lot! We went to the petting zoo, we went on the merry go round (Wyatt didn't mind it but Teagan hated it), we ate deep fried food (OK - I ate deep fried food and then got sick later!) but we had a nice day at the babies first faire.

Do you know how hard it is to wrangle twins and get them to sit still for 30 seconds?!
