10 Weeks

OK - OK - So it has been a month since we last posted! Geesh. I can't believe how fast time goes. Things are crazy busy...in fact it doesn't seem like a month has gone by to us - seems like a week or so since I last posted! :-)

At this point in our lives, we are sort of wondering what we did to ourselves. LOL

We used to go out to dinner with friends, go fun places on the weekends, hang out in the backyard on warm summer nights and drink beers with the dogs. Now we often wonder: Are the dogs still there? Are our friends going to remember us when we are ready to be social again? Will we remember how to drink beer casually on a warm summer night?! OK - maybe that last one was a dumb question. But you get the point.

The babies had their two month check up last week where they got their first round of immunizations. On a positive note they are both 100% healthy. We always appreciate a clean bill of health. The Dr. said whatever we are doing is working. Wyatt did not like the shots at all. He had a fever for a day and a half and was super cranky. We gave them Tylenol and that made Teagan sleep for 8 hours that night. :-) We like that. Can we use that every night?!

Teagan now weighs 11 pounds 12 ounces and is in the 75% for weight. She is definitely on track with singleton babies. She is such a little chunk. All belly that girl. She has little fat rolls on her legs and arms. She smiles at us all the time and has started to "coo" at Mommy and Daddy. So fun. She even rolled over from her tummy to her back with Daddy during one of her "Tummy Time" sessions.

Wyatt is still our little man. He is weighing 9 pounds 5 ounces which is more in line with twin growth. Considering he came home from the hospital weighing less than a pound of suger - we are pleased with his growth. Wyatt has also started to smile, but a little less often. He is proving to be quite the serious little baby. So when you get a Wyatt smile - consider yourself lucky!

We went out to dinner the other night at Stanford shopping center. Outdoor seating with the big 'ol double stroller. It was pretty funny. But the kids were great and slept the entire meal. First meal out with the babies - check.

We also went on our first big outing last weekend. A friend of Travis' has a photography studio in Santa Rosa. So we packed up the babies and went to the studio to take photographs. It was a long day - we didn't get home till 7:30 pm. But we had a good day and got some great shots.

Oh - I didn't get any takers on the accepting donations offer to keep the night nanny. Don't worry - the polls are still open - we are still accepting donations - call now. I can check with my accountant to see if it is tax deductable.
